Hello and Welcome!
My name is Corvin and I live in a small village in the northern part of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald), Germany.
A few years ago I got in touch with landscape photography and instantly fell in love with it. Ever since then photography is for me equally relaxation, meditation, and most importantly - absolute deceleration.
Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of traveling and photographing some of the world's most beautiful places. From the frozen coasts of Svalbard, the vast and monumental landscapes of Northern Europe, the rugged yet graceful Dolomites to the enchanted mountains and valleys of my homeland - the Black Forest. Landscape Photography
Schwarzwald
The Schwarzwald (en: Black Forest) is a mountainous region in southwest Germany. It is commonly known for its dense, coniferous forests and small and often remote villages. Luckily some of the most beautiful regions of the Black Forest are just a few minutes from where I live. I especially love the harsher northern part of the Black Forest with its beautiful mountain ranges and dark forests which invite to believe some of the old myths and fairy tales of ghosts, dwarves and other strange things that are embedded in the regional folklore.
Scandinavia
In recent years I was very privileged to be able travel and experience the landscapes of Scandinavia a few times. Especially the harsh conditions on the arctic island Svalbard as well as the unbelievable beauty and versatility of the icelandic highlands inspired me immensely and sustainably on my ‘photographic’ journey.
Alps
South Tyrol became somewhat of a second home for me after being able to visit the region at least once a year over the past years. I would say that South Tyrol is definitely on of the most photogenig regions I have ever visited and everytime I am in this beautiful region there is something new and unique to discover. While doing so I especially try to find new locations aside from the classic photography hotspots.
